ARGENTINA (River Plate Provinces), La Rioja mint, 8 reales, 1827 P, six laurel pairs, PCGS VF details / cleaned. Janson-29; KM-20. A very elusive type, this mildly circulated piece has six pairs of leaves in the laurel around the arms (only known on the 1826 and 1827 issuances). Bold design details with light surface hairlines noted in the fields, now toning over with light golden hues.
